Global Key Investment Limited (“Global”) s a Canadian listed company engaged in trading, distributing and retailing wine in the emerging markets of China. Global targets key unexploited markets in China using its knowledge and experience of importing wine through its wholly owned subsidiaries in Hong Kong and mainland China.

Global through its wholly owned subsidiary, Jean Le Huit, was granted Food Circulation Permit, Liquor Wholesale Permit, Liquor Import and Export Licence, Liquor Retail Licence, “Chained Store” naming qualification, and Franchising Licence is expected to be granted within 1-2 years. Global is one of very few foreign invested enterprises that are granted the complete set of required licences which allow it to sell and market wine as well as opening and operating retail wine shops in the China. It also registered its brand “Jean Le Huit” in China. Upon now, Global, in name of “Jean Le Huit”, operated a total of 3 retail shops of which 2 are located in Guangzhou and 1 is located in Shenzhen of Guangdong province in China.

Global utilizes exclusive distribution rights to premium wine products for selected regions in China to penetrate the fastest growing market in wine consumption. In 2013, Global opened Shajing Wine City in Shenzhen. It serves as an operation base of Jean Le Huit to explore new clients and explore various channels like supermarkets, consignments, distributors, retail outlets as well as online platform.

In February 2013, Jean Le Huit entered into a cooperation contract with Wochacha, China’s most popular mobile price-comparison apps which is a e-platform of 140 million subscribers and 5 million viewers every day. With the payment gateway between Wochacha and UnionPay opened access in May 2013, Jean Le Huit’s online sale has been launched to market. Customers can settle payment either by online method or by cash on delivery, and can choose self-pickup or door-to-door delivery service. To facilitate its online business, Jean Le Huit currently assigns by contract a total of 17 pick-up sites all over China for supporting its wine sales.
